Excel Public School, Mysore

Today I was part of a team of teachers from DPS North who took a trek up to Mysore to check out a school using technology and engineering resources in an innovative way. We got a great tour of their facilities and after lunch had a chance to see a class in action up close.  I got to see a pretty cool chemistry lab using Verneer probes.

Besides their cool weather station and all the other tech goodies, they also had a pretty impressive telescope up on the roof:

They also had a small but extremely well curated library.

On the way back the group indulged me in a diversion to get our Facebook worthy picture in front of the Mysore palace:

To break up the long drive we stopped at this place and had a truly fantastic snack.

Yum!
