Student Workshop for Fulbright Project and Indian Institute of Science Open Day
Huge thanks to Gayathri Tirthapura and husband and daughter Anusha for hosting a workshop in their home that really facilitated my Fulbright project. The Saturday was workshop #2 and by the end I was making videos to share with my students. The reality of my ambitious project is that it may take many months (years?) of work to set up a structure that makes collaboration easier. Of course to me the whole point is that it ISN’T easy and we DON’T know how to do it, that what makes it fun and innovative.
Le Marvella was a nice hotel to stay in, the food was good and rooftop pool was nice to have a quick look and selfie at.
After the successful workshop (over 20 kids signed up and are hopefully going to get going with it as soon as they get past their exams), Gayathri and Anusha were kind enough to indulge me a visit to the Indian Institute of Science.
It took quite a log through traffic to get there and we didn’t have much time, but it was still a great experience.
